Price per 1M logo

Terms of use

Last updated 2026-09-26. By using this site you accept the terms below. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

1. What this site is

Price per 1M is an independent reference index of published AI model pricing. It normalises rates that providers publish in different units into one comparable figure — US dollars per one million tokens — and publishes the result as web pages, a JSON API and an open dataset. It is a publication about prices; it is not a reseller, broker, marketplace or payment intermediary, and it does not sell or execute inference on anyone's behalf.

2. Accuracy, and what the numbers are not

Every figure is gathered automatically from public provider pricing pages and community-maintained registries, then cross-checked where a second source exists. The dataset was last refreshed 2026-10-28. Automated collection can lag a provider's changes by hours, and providers change prices, tiers, quotas and model availability without notice.

Accordingly: the figures here are informational only. They are not quotes, not offers, not a contract, and not financial, tax or procurement advice. The rate that applies to your bill is the one your provider states in your agreement with them. Verify against the provider's own pricing page before making a purchasing or budgeting decision. We deliberately do not model committed-use or batch discounts, regional pricing, taxes, free tiers or enterprise agreements, so a real invoice can differ from the estimates on this site.

3. Permitted use

You may read, link to, quote and cite this site, and you may reuse the published dataset under its stated licence (CC BY 4.0) with attribution. You may not: scrape the site in a way that degrades it for other users (our JSON API exists precisely so you do not have to); misrepresent the data as coming from a provider rather than from this index; present the data as advice to a third party while removing the accuracy caveats in this document; or use the site to build a misleading price comparison that omits the caveats published here.

4. How the site is funded, and independence

The site is funded by display advertising and, potentially, sponsorship of specific data pages. Advertising is served programmatically and is not influenced by any provider. No provider pays for placement, ranking, inclusion or a favourable comparison, and no provider reviews pages before publication. Sponsored placements, if any are ever sold, are labelled as such.

5. Advertising, cookies and your choices

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and read how Google uses data from partner sites here. Ad units on this site load only after you have agreed to advertising cookies, and you can change that decision at any time from the privacy page or the “cookie settings” link in the footer. Details of what is stored and for how long are in the privacy policy.

6. Intellectual property

The structure, written analysis and design of this site belong to its publisher. The normalised dataset is published under CC BY 4.0 as described on the methodology page. Model names, product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used here only to identify the products being compared; their use does not imply any affiliation with, endorsement by or sponsorship by those owners.

7. Corrections and removal requests

If a figure is wrong or a model is missing, contact us via the contact page with the page URL, the rate you see and the provider page that states it; corrections are pushed through the pipeline and are usually live within one refresh cycle. Providers may also ask us to attribute a rate differently or to mark a retired model; we will do so when the request is verifiable against the provider's own published pricing.

8. No warranty, limitation of liability

The site and its data are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss — including lost profits, lost savings, overbilling by a provider, or procurement decisions taken on the basis of these figures — arising from the use of this site or its data.

9. Availability and changes

The site may be unavailable during refreshes, deployments or maintenance, and any endpoint (including the JSON API) may change or be withdrawn. These terms may be updated; the “last updated” date above always reflects the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Contact

Questions about these terms, licensing, or the data itself: use the contact page. See also the privacy policy and the disclaimer.
